Emblematic interscholastic English Debate

A few weeks ago, some emblematic schools gathered at UMCE and demonstrated their skills in debating. Liceo de Aplicacion hosted our school which was awarded Honorable Mention. We congratulate Bruno Peralta on his effort to lead our students and represent IN in this encounter, which reopens a new season of different meetings of this type.

First of all, the IN’s English Department would like to thank all the people involved and the students who participated in this process. 203rd Anniversary

This last Wednesday was the 203rd anniversary of our school and our students demonstrated us why Instituto Nacional still is the emblem of subsidized schools. Magnificient shows of Instituto’s Choir and the Instituto’s Orchestra reminded the high quality of our students talents. The English Department of IN congratulates the students, who took part of this ceremony, and sends its regards to all the members of the institution. Happy Anniversary! Mr. Zamorano’s visit in Chile at IN.

A very interested audience welcomed Mr. Zamorano last Friday at IN. Our school and the English Debate Academy or EDAIN (led by Mr. Peralta) hosted our Institutano, current student at Harvard University, and Ms. Macarena Salgado, who coordinates the national programme English Opens Doors, to share Mr. Zamorano’s experience as an international representative in varied debate championships. His lecture mainly focused on debate techniques and sharing his extensive experience. Here we will show you some photographs.

Instituto Nacional’s English Department and its English Debate Academy invites you to meet and greet institutano’s debate expert and current Harvard student Pablo Zamorano. Mr. Zamorano will be lecturing on debate techniques and strategies learnt through his experience as a Chilean national representative in the American tournament  in the world championship debate tournament. Teachers attend to IATEFL XIV International conference ‘ELT’: Where are we now? Where are we going?
